ATHALIA Parfums de Marly
Hello my dear perfumistas, it’s been a long time since I did a perfume review. Today, I’d like to tell you about one of my favorite perfumes, from Parfum de Marly.
Athalia
Athelia is as a floral woody musk scent and is designed to embody strength, power, and elegance, launched in 2016.
Top notes: The top notes are the first olfactory impressions you perceive immediately after applying the fragrance. Athalia opens with notes of peach, neroli and orange blossom, offering a bright, fruity opening.
Heart notes: The heart notes form the core of the fragrance, emerging within minutes of application and lingering for several hours. Athalia’s heart reveals notes of jasmine, tuberose and patchouli, adding an earthy, floral richness to the composition.
Base notes: The base notes are the last to appear, providing foundation and depth to the fragrance. Athalia melts into notes of vanilla, cashmere and white musk, creating a sensual, enveloping finish.
This intense black bottle is the epitome of luxury, with a magnificent gold cap that’s just wow!
Athalia is a fragrance that combines floral and woody notes with powdery nuances, offering a sophisticated and elegant olfactory experience. Athalia’s powdery facet is mainly attributed to ingredients such as tuberose and cashmere.
Tuberose, an exotic white flower, often brings a creamy, powdery quality to fragrances. In Athalia, tuberose helps create a floral sweetness with a subtle touch of powder.
Cashmere, meanwhile, is a soft, slightly powdery woody note that adds depth and warmth to the fragrance. It acts as a soft, enveloping base, accentuating the powdery facet of the composition.
By combining these elements with other floral and fruity notes, Athalia offers a modern, refined interpretation of femininity, with a touch of powder that lends it an aura of timeless sophistication.
